We had a fundraiser at our show to raise money for the American Autoimmune Related Disorders Organization. We made almost 200 lunchbags and casserole carriers and I’m happy to report we had a complete sellout!
I figured I’d pick some fabric from my stash for them, but when I stopped at Joann Fabrics to get ripstop nylon and insulbright for the lining I saw they had Red Sox and Patriots fabrics in cottons so I had to get some.
We had a workshop and I was able to make four of them in a few hours (pictured here were a few that others in the workshop made). The only tricky part was the directional fabric – I wish I’d thought that through a bit better, ah well. We used patterns from the internet – just search for quilted lunchbag pattern in google or pinterest and you’ll find many options.
